Quartz stone, commonly known as quartzite, is a new type of stone synthesized by adding more than 90% quartz crystals, resin, and other trace elements. It is a large-sized board made by special machines under certain physical and chemical conditions, and its main material is quartz.
Quartz is a mineral that easily turns into a liquid state when subjected to heat or pressure. It is also a quite common rock forming mineral, found in all three major types of rocks. Because it crystallizes the latest in igneous rocks, it usually lacks complete crystal planes and is mostly filled in between other rock forming minerals that crystallize first.
