Requirements For Resin Used in Artificial Stone

When selecting a resin, two aspects should be considered: the chemical structure and curing performance of the resin.
1.The chemical structure of the resin generally adopts isophthalic acid propylene glycol type resin. It can meet the requirements of CMI (American Artificial Marble Association) for 500 cycles of heat shock resistance. When it is boiled with distilled water for 48 hours, the color basically remains unchanged, and the anti white flower and anti foaming properties are good, but the price is relatively expensive. Ordinary resin cannot be used for artificial stone manufacturing.
2. Resin curing performance: It is required that the resin has a moderate low shrinkage rate and high pre curing strength, i.e. green strength, during curing.
